Outreach Ministries
PADS Homeless Ministry

St. Mark hosts PADS on Friday nights from October through April. We provide a warm, safe place for homeless individuals to eat and sleep through colder months. Volunteers are always needed to help set up, clean up, serve dinner or breakfast, or take a watch shift.

Contact Volunteer Coordinator Jill Decker at padsatstmark@gmail.com.

St. Mark Prison Ministry

In partnership with Bill Glass Prison Ministries, we help to put on events at prisons in the Chicago area. Your help is needed not only in ministering to inmates, but also in event logistics (such as picking up a guest speaker from the airport).

Meeting Needs
St. Mark Saints

This ministry strives to help members of our church family with everyday needs. Maybe someone needs a ride to the doctor, help with lawn care, or other acts of kindness.

To request help or offer to volunteer as needs arise, please contact John and Gloria Brda at jbrda8@gmail.com or Jeff and Lori McKenzie at smlcprez@gmail.com.

Stephen Ministry

Stephen Ministers are people from our congregation who have completed several months of intense formal training through Stephen Ministries. They aim to serve those in our congregation who are hurting due to a myriad of problems: family tragedy, financial instability, disability, etc.

To request help from a Stephen Minister, or to find out about becoming one, please contact Judy Dunfrund at judykless@gmail.com or John Florip at johnflorip@aol.com.
